i'd like to make a case for musicals as an art form. while you'd probably have to strech a lot to make a musical as an artistic statement (hamilton did it) id say theyre just as much an art form as regular stage plays

the fact that i'm equally entertained by both machine girl and jerry paper probably says a lot about my musical taste
i dont like the stigma against "nonessential purchases". we've got much more time to work on our hobbies, but the stuff we need to work on those hobbies isnt prioritized by delivery services, and people get annoyed at us for wanting them

not to be contrarian (because you're right that people should be understanding of people buying "nonessentials" and that's actively helping the economy) but, my dude, perhaps essential deliveries are prioritized.... because.... they are essential

I think the problem isn't your cassette tape hasn't arrived, but the company hasn't told you anything about it (I'm asssuming it because a lot of people on a server I'm in are waiting for a vinyl and the delivery service didn't tell them it would be delivered later)

who is saying that musicals are less of an art form than plays? I find musicals are often a lot more visually interesting than plays and just generally incorporate more diverse art forms (music, visual, text, performance) together
yeah i dont think many people are arguing against this
