i dont like the stigma against "nonessential purchases". we've got much more time to work on our hobbies, but the stuff we need to work on those hobbies isnt prioritized by delivery services, and people get annoyed at us for wanting them
not to be contrarian (because you're right that people should be understanding of people buying "nonessentials" and that's actively helping the economy) but, my dude, perhaps essential deliveries are prioritized.... because.... they are essential

I think the problem isn't your cassette tape hasn't arrived, but the company hasn't told you anything about it (I'm asssuming it because a lot of people on a server I'm in are waiting for a vinyl and the delivery service didn't tell them it would be delivered later)
