the fairly oddparents shorts made for oh yeah! pre-series feel really interesting. The cel style has some noticeable differences from the final product. its really cool to see a 2000's cartoon in the style of a late 90's cartoon

i think bugs are pretty much the unluckiest group of species in cartoons. most of the cartoons featuring them in starring roles have either been seen as ugly (sunny patch friends, antz), or just not well-liked (bug's life, buzz on maggie)

Andrew Hussie has got to find something unrelated to homestuck to work on because the epilogues and beyond canon have just been doing way more harm than good for everyone just put that damn comic out of its misery make something new

wow timmy sounds more realistically like a 10 year old kid in this pilot
i also think vicky was a more likeable character in the shorts and early seasons. more manipulative than flat-out insane lol
