do you ever just get reminded of how in Kirby 64 Adeleine is the only human left in existence, and shiver star is earth after a presumed nuclear apocolypse. and how every factory and machine there is left intact and still working, long after humans have died? it just makes me uncomfortable to think about.
i wouldve posted this in my journal but its under construction atm. but like, when i was really young i always replayed shiver star's levels because it made me so happy with the cheery music and toy factory. now whenever i go there i get uncomfortable knowing the backstory of everything.
with the newest switch trailer, it looks like they're going back to the 'kirby being in post apocolypse' and honestly i didn't know about 64 because i'd never fully played through
