Question: has anyone ever had a quick response from Neocities support? I sent them an email and it took them like a month to get back to me. Now I need to send another and I dread not hearing back until March
Man, this really sucks. I heard from someone a while ago that Neocities only does the bare minimum to keep the site running, and that seems to be true. I hope I don't truly need their help anytime soon, and I can't even switch web hosts without losing all the friends I made on here. (Yeah there's ways to keep in touch, but the feed we're talking in now is part of what makes Neocities work so well. Fuck!)
From what I have heard, neocities is basically run by just one guy. Maybe there is some kind of support department, but the github org only lists a single person.
i solved my own issue after a month of no response, no

Ï've seen people keep the neocities site and then make it redirect to their new domain to keep this feed as well, if you get to that point
I moved to my own hosting and just post an update page to neocities now…
I find the neocities feed useful but social interactions are totally pointless when you’re capped to 10 per day!
