Sad news, folks — Neocities has been fun, and you’re all wonderful, wonderful people, but at some point in the near future, i’ll likely be jumping ship to a “real” hosting provider.

My reasoning is relatively simple — Neocities’ built-in community features are wonderful, and no doubt drive most of the traffic to my website, but it is slowly killing me not to have any way of meaningful interaction on the site itself (and that making posts on the blog is such a faff). I want real, actual comments and forms, no substitutes accepted, gosh darn it!

I've definitely been annoyed at the lack of dynamic content features - especially since I could actually get a server with them for cheaper - so I can emphasise with such a move. But I would only actually only pull the plug when you've sure you've got the audience to sustain it.
