very good guide! does seem clear and well-explained, and hits the major things i also think of when making a website responsive. only thing i'd -maybe- add is background-size for making responsive backgrounds but idk how necessary or wanted that is for anyone

That story makes me so mad for you. I had similar problems in school -- classmates would steal my supplies and the teacher's response was to ban Lisa Frank from the classroom (I was SO popular after THAT /sarcasm). I'm so sorry you went through that :C on a lighter note: the layout on that page is freakin banging!!!
