I am working on a page made for a short story i made called "The two of us". Unorginal name but it is a zombie apocalypse story about a virologist and her family living through the apocalypse. I wanted it to be a short story about her finding a cure and trying to seek out other doctors etc but i was told that it would be boring and forgettable if there was a cure lol.

I am still making the short story though because i personally think a cure in an apocalypse is more interesting than impending doom and depression 24/7 but that is just me..

I am currently in a pit where i both feel unmotivated and dislike anything i make, wether it be art or site making. Personal things and activity should be fun, but it isn't feeling fun anymore when i see it as useless.

real talk see a mental health professional if you can, i’ve been feeling the same way for a while recently and seeing a psychiatrist and therapist has been helpful in getting back on track

as someone whos goes through it regularly, i dont think theres really some easy solution. motivation just kinda comes and goes on it own, really. all i can say is to just take care of yourself and wait till it comes back.

Motivation is like "I want to do this, but I don't feel like it..." so in this instance I would try and build a routine to do the thing, instead of giving myself the option to decide I don't feel like it.

something that works for me is making easily and realistically achievable goals for myself with a reward system, no matter how small the task that way it starts to slowly build the habit

I tend to use middlepots (pooftie) graphics, like laces and realistic pngs. I use apple emojis for some small images, i also use a carrd by the name of Mikejima, i use a lot of carrd graphics as i find them easy to navigate and use. I use photopea to edit in my browser and remove bg for transparent images.

So i have a videogame review page, twd review(ish) page and i may add a page dedicated to films i watched,, thinking about the last one the most cuz i finished watching, Henry:Portrait of a serial killer. Thought it would be interesting to share my thoughts on films. I am tweaking page layouts slowly as of now haha..

My favorite pass time (when i am not feeling unmotivated) is watching films. I would totally love sharing opinions and personal critiques on movies i enjoyed. I just wonder if people would be interested in it. Cuz sometimes i think no one would care enough,, but grahgh
