An OpenShot bug was fixed so I could finally export my pixel art in Clip Studio Paint video (4 years late but still). It has a demo of using my CSP dithering brushes. You can hear my 3 months on T voice. 💜 https://youtu.be/f8IdhBIx3qM I'll upload this to my website soon.
Updated the guestbook and blog comment submission forms to have labels, focus attributes, and overall, just be accessible to screen readers (before they could not be tabbed into or got any audio feedback from the screen reader NVDA). Also removed the layout tables from the comments sections in the blogs too.
Big quality of life update. Finally fixed the broken breadcrumb menu to be accessible (I hid it before). Instructions here: https://www.aditus.io/patterns/breadcrumbs/ Also reversed the order of info in the title tag so unique info comes first (site name last). This is for my benefit as much as anyone elses, I was starting to get lost on my own website lmao
Going to miss having you on Neocities. Your site reminded me so much of early Pokemon fansites, from the aesthetic to the content. But I can also understand not wanting to maintain it. Do you have other social media or other ways of contacting you besides email?
Updated the Websites resources page with some links to language learning sites (mainly japanese). Will update and move this to a new page because I want to document other resources I used to use when studying japanese as well. https://pixelglade.net/resources/websites.html
I haven't tried ipmsleur but I would say I never had any conversation practice or speaking practice. One of the reasons Kanshudo was helpful to me was because of the large focus on reading (which was the main reason I was learning) but definitely, if I decide to go back to it I think some conversation classes or focus would be incredibly useful.
Have you tried pimsleur for Japanese? I rented the audiobooks from my library, and it really helped improve my my ability to speak.
