I played that Radiators From Space song on the very first episode of my programme because it was (probably) the first Irish punk single. April 1977. I interviewed one of the members of the band a few years ago...

When I was just getting into punk my father had a friend living in Germany and I asked him to bring me some punk CDs from Europe, he brought me the Indie Scene 78 compilation (among some other stuff), but there was a mistrack, the track that should have been Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen in Love was Radiators From Space - Television Screen, and for years I thought that song was from the Buzzcocks haha

The playlist is still nebulous but will probably include Bikini Kill, SNFU, Downtown Boys and MDC plus Irish bands like the Radiators from Space, Peer Pleasure and Problem Patterns. Archive recordings will be made available later
