May I suggest Basic Printer and The Doddies? If you want something "weirder" El Cuarteto De Nos. They have satirical, political, and surprisingly pretty normal music. You just have to truly dive in it. I guess their music is kind of alternative rock? I recommend Calma Vladimir, and Lo Malo De Ser Bueno, but I think that song would be hard to translate into English since it uses a lot of wordplay.

I'm loving Esha Tewari's music at the moment, she does kinda indie/folk and also How Did I Get Here? by Louis tomlinson
