May I suggest the validation service at w3c... https://validator.w3.org/ it will help catch these kinds of errors. They also have a css validation service as well.

note to self : float center/align left? put all "articles" in a big container div, have toc.js search that div instead of the whole body

Freewebs (now just Webs), FortuneCity, x10hosting, 50megs, and php1h are some of the ones that come to mind for me. How old are we talking here; mid 90s, late 90s, early 00s?

i''m guessing 2001-2003? maybe as late as 2005

geouniversal 5 years ago

i remember it being 50megs, but not finding much clues with my mediocre google-fu. why whould a 20 year old website half finished by a 13 year old disapear!?! ha

yeah there were SO many!! This isn't nearly all of them, just what they've covered on the podcast I'm listening to. I think it'll be a cool party trick some day to be able to say I saw them all haha

princess mononoke and bicentennial man should be bumped to the top of your list!! still amazed how many importent movies came out that year

Whoops! I'm still getting used to logging in more frequently/checking my comments. But thanks for recommending those-- sometimes it's really hard to pick which one to watch next! Still debating if I should watch the dubbed or subbed Princess Mononoke

what's a whitbie?
rbuchanan 5 years ago

A Whitby is any individual of a specfic (yet ungendered and pan-ethnic) phenotypic and temperamental rubric. Whitbies commonly excelled in beaux arts, entertainment and applied sciences from the fifteenth through the twentieth centuries, though their present prominence is much diminished by attrition.

geouniversal 5 years ago

i like to think of bowie's work as applied science myself
