you ever really think about how the norm in japan is that one person, give or take, draws a serialized comic for a magazine, and after a while if it's successfull a studio of thousands takes that one man's work and makes a whole ass animated series of it

one of my many beefs with homestuck is that the teenager characters, including the mains, aren't written in a way that makes them FEEL like teenagers

Honestly though!!! I read HS many years ago and all the dialogue is just one big meme in a weird way.. Homestuck has so much beef, it may as well just be a cow. (No offense to anyone out there who enjoys it though! Just my onion.)

i saw some discorse against people saying what peoples' art reminds them of. i've been in that situation several times, its a bit annoying, but i feel it's still interesting to know peoples' perspective toward your art in regards to other things, as maybe you'll realize things youve been taking subconcious insp from. which is why is ask now: what does my art most remind you of?

and those poor animators get paid like nothing. Kyoto Animation actually treated their workers well, but there was a terrorist attack at one of their buildings. :((
