Just read your MRE blog entry - my ex was stationed in Berlin in the early 90s and I remember those MREs well! I am so jealous you have a sawdust (oatmeal) bar! I really liked those. I'm not sure what could ruin those - hopefully it still tasted OK.

actually the only thing I ate at all in the MRE was the oatmeal bar, tasted like a nature valley granola bar. Seemed to have endured the best.

I can relate to this so much, when I first started with digital art, mind you the internet was just born, it was rough, and you can imagine how the tutorials back THEN were. I learned trial an error is the best tutorial. It's so great when you finally "get it" though. GIMP is an awesome program once you know your way around. And I love the little pixel critter! keep it up =)
