tiny update on the current state of the garden. it mostly survived the storm just fine. and now i go back to cleaning up fallen branches and trees

I like orb weavers. Some have set up on the outside of my living room window and it's fun to watch them eat bugs.

they're such pretty spiders too! absolutely gorgeous colors and patterns on the ones that are around me (mostly Argiope aurantia) and the zigzag in the webs is so fun to watch them build. i've got a couple i've been feeding the few grasshoppers i still find on my plants, thank you spiders for helping me keep the population under control

added a link to a site with thousands of clothing patterns for free. harder to look through than other stuff, but if you know the pattern number for something you want, you can pull it up real quick

it might not be available outside of the US or something. HM. i'll see if i can find any way around it

wow why is the handicrafts preview all messed up. anyway just added a seed catalogue collection on the internet archive to the gardening section. 93,315 entries in the collection. also i think the plants flyer from 1771 is now the oldest thing i have linked on my pages
