Weekly blog post! I will try to be back later tonight with some more updates - I've got a house to add to Pocket Town amongst other things. However, it's 114F/46C here today and I think the power grid is struggling because there are strange fluctuations in the electricity and I can see from the power company's map that there are outages all around me. Yikes!

I still have my HomeGoods clearance lamp I got in 2007! Yours looks amazing with candles inside <3 Mine gloriously Shabby Chic and I take it with me everywhere I move ^_^

The shade suits the lamp perfectly. Looks fab!

I can see it. Maybe just because I live in 2026, but maple leaf probably wouldn't even have occurred to me. Also, I love that jalapeño tiara.

@oopsiedoodle, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I don't know maybe it's not because it's 2026 but because we're not Canadian that we can't see the (alleged) maple leaves?

I never leave the thrift without checking out the lamps. I rarely see any as cool as the ones you found. Good find!

I just saw a video a few weeks ago about the train station melodies and found it to be so cool, especially considering that it hopefully brightens up a humdrum part of the day. And I am also rhapsodizing about cherries lately ^_^ July cherries just hit different.

There are 5 new Kitty Friends and a new house in Pocket Town! Plus the weekly tiara post.

In addition to the weekly blog post I made the site its own 404 page and a sitemap! I also added projects to the Cross Stitch page, some new links for cat cross stitch patterns on the Cats page, new buttons or links for peeps I've followed, revamped the credits page to be a credits and resources page, and updated the reading log in the library and added a new helpful link.

Oh, and new kitties since the last Kitty Friends update!

I'm so with you on not caring if people accidentally use AI patterns. There are more egregious uses of AI that are far more deserving of pitchforks. Like people who don't tag their images as AI on stock sites. I have to search these sites a lot for work, and the filters do not work. Omg, it is so annoying.
