Kudos to you for building your digital media collection, I've been doing the same for some time now, streaming is no longer a viable option to cable, the prices seem to cancel out each other.

Hey @enflicted! Good to see you! Yes, I'm kind of tired of paying for media that apparently isn't actually really mine. I'm definitely going back to wanting physical media. And yes, the cost of streaming is getting ridiculous!

I've gone down the digital media route though, because I've got almost everything I want on DVD already, but the new shows that I want to collect haven't got a DVD release, or they are free to watch (legally) online. I practically went through every series I owned during Covid and wanted something new.

I find it hard to watch anything on TV now days, and I feel old just talking about it. I usually end up recycling my old shows and rewatch, because I just can't stand the new stuff today. Hell I still watch 3rd Rock from the Sun, at the moment i'm on my 4th rewatch of Merlin.

Ahh, Merlin is one of those shows on my "I should watch that one of these days" list. Nothing wrong with rewatching old stuff!

Merlin is such a great show, a must watch in my opinion, it's a comfort thing for me, since I love medieval times.
