It's quite cool that you have a college degree in computer science now. I rarely use Neocities myself and most of the people I used to follow are inactive so I have cleared my follows(except deleted websites, Neocities doesn't let you unfollow deleted websites). Neocities has an API that can allow you to access your Neocities site without using Neocities' built in editor so you can upload to it.
I also have similar shame for the code of my website, as well as what little content of value was on it. I was so ashamed I deleted the contents of it 3 years ago, though not the site itself or its profile. I've been planning a more efficient static site generator workflow but it will mean there won't be as much experimenting with JavaScript because the focus will be more on client-side performance.
Glad to hear you're doing well!
If you do end up updating anything, I have some Game Boy Camera photos on my site which you are free to use: https://pacobell15.neocities.org/photos/game_boy_camera/
@pacobell15 that's a neat gallery you have.
I just realized I was commenting under the name Sacred lol. Yeah its me. Sacred OS is something I'm working on.
