Question: are the events in Holocene History color coded based on event type?

They're colour-coded based on region! Red is the Americas, blue is Europe, purple is Asia–Pacific, gold is the Middle East and northern Africa, and green is sub-Saharan Africa.

update: turns out the issue was that i was using flexbox and uh... i guess flexbox doesn't give a shit about the page-break-inside property and decides to wrap around anyway?
I did the same thing with Garamond on my book project...
