I've released a new Krita pixel art brush set - a port of mtPaint's pixel pattern brushes. There's 100 of them - check it out: https://pixelglade.net.au/resources/freebies/ditheringbrush.html#mtpaint-brushes

Thanks! Greens are at least slightly underrated in web designs imo :D

For sure, it's difficult to get a nice looking shade of green!

Heya thank you for the follow! What was the website you based your Digimon blog off? Because it looks really familiar, I wonder if we're thinking of the same website. Also -- I revived my Digimon tamagotchi recently so it was a funny coincidence to see your Tamagotchi game.

my blog layout was based on the blog: thedigi-zone.com however, that website is long gone, but it can be found on the wayback machine... you might have visited it back in the day as well

my blog is kinda a very close recreation of its looks, but the content is totally different. as for my tamagotchi game, it's still in a very early phase, and it's been that way for a long time xD not much can be done in it yet... I might get back ot working on it soon, hopefully

It was 100% The Digi Zone, I remember the Digimon Frontier cover (looking at the Wayback Machine around 2005).

thank you so much!! I love your pixel art, especially the fantasy anime stuff! I didn't even know that was a genre...I may need to study up on my cool anime elf lore. I also really enjoyed your PC98 art history/tutorial post!

Oh thank you so much! Happy you liked the PC98 post. A lot of fantasy anime from the 90's basically fused a bunch of cultures together to create costume styles, and then a bit of classic sword and sorcery fantasy on top (like DnD). But I'm happy to talk about any of my artworks if you had any particular questions about some of them.

my only question would be: what fantasy anime would you recommend that has that mage-elf vibe? Also, I just read your Chaos comic and love the message :D

Good question... for the 90's elf vibe probably the Ruin Explorers OVA (1995), for the magical elf vibe - Record of Loddoss War OVA (1990). For the magic male elf specifically, it's kind of a fusion of a mix of non-elf characters.
