We came up with the idea after thinking about moving off Neocities, however since I like it here I don't think I'll be moving MY site there. But if anyone else is thinking of moving from Neocities due to the discomfort with current situations, we'd be happy to have you! it'll always be invite only to prevent the abundance of harassment or blank sites.

some of the features we have so far (or are planning to add) are.. an HTML editor that ACTUALLY WORKS. drag and drop file system. ability to upload any file type. INVITE ONLY and an archive system (meaning less abandoned or spam sites)

NO social aspect like timeline and followers, sites will be featured based on "kudos" instead. ACHIVEMENT SYSTEM, for sites that have participated in beta testing or have been on for a number of years

there will be site themes, so you can change the native appearance of the dashboard n stuff. YOU CAN ALSO CUSTOMIZE YOUR SITE PROFILE! you can also post updates/changelogs to your profile but they wont be threaded comments

No I'm not apologizing for what I did. I didn't do anything and I know that. I'm going to steal moonviews terminology "TTT" (twitter tiktok tumblr) to refer to those involved in my harassment, because its quite funny. They don't care to fact check anything, and spread serious accusations like middle school playground gossip.

I'm not elaborating more than I have to, because it's not my job and I'm done with this whole thing. I realized how much of a joke it was when they started accusing me of stabbing someone IRL and going to jail for it. Like, i seriously dont have shit to say.

Anyway now that that's been said, I'm not sure whether I want to stay here. I was actually considering moving DOKODEMO onto another host, because of the toxicity in this community. However, when you realize all of it's been done by 13 year olds it's easy to ignore. Seriously has no affect on me, nor you guys. And the only thing I'm sorry for is worrying people about my own mental health.

There have been a lot of bigger sites on here that worry about the harassment of their fellow webmasters, and want to leave just as I did. But honestly, it's not worth it. The group of kids and their little harassment circles is like a needle in the haystack of a bunch of awesome and cool people here.

i'm glad my term was funny enough to use! also, glad to see you're not gone. dokodemo was a big inspiration for me to come back to neo myself. :)

The only thing I have left to criticize is Kyle's lack of rule enforcement. I can't believe I sent him screenshots of what's been going on and his response was he couldnt do anything because the screenshots were sent using another platform. Dawg it's screenshots of YOUR platform what are you talking about 😭

But I also do want to mention the overwhelming support I've gotten through Email and Discord. I wasn't aware how many people also saw through this person's bullshit. It made me feel less alone. Even if I've thanked you all individually for the support and kind words, I want to say it again. Thank you all , seriously. It's people like you that give me motivation to work on the things I'm passionate about

I'll be keeping DOKODEMO blank for now while I work on the v3. If I ever move to another host it will probably just be mirrored from here. (however i do kind of want a fresh start with my directories. it's a huge mess rn)
