One of the things that amazes me is the discovery of exoplanets, and not just a few of them but thousands. We knew that there were likely to be exoplanets out there, but knowing which stars they orbit, etc, is awesome. I didn't think it would be possible to know that back in the 90s. It was just an impossible speculation. Then there is also all the knowledge we've gained about Mars.
@bright-eyes - YES, that's how I feel about Pluto! It was such an implausible idea to think we'd get there one day but we did it! And yes, exoplanets and everything we're discovering about them is super cool.
@dicjournal - I had never heard of Pluto time!
@rusty-bytes - Justice for Pluto!
@worldwideshen - Thanks!
WONDERful post :)
I also love Pluto and am still pissed it lost planet status
Pluto has always been underrated >.< Have you ever walked outside during Pluto time? I always get a kick out of it! https://science.nasa.gov/dwarf-planets/pluto/plutotime/
