Would it add much to the pages' file sizes? Would it make them load more slowly?
I haven't noticed a differnce at all in loading times on my computer. Adding the animated stars really only adds about 20 extra short lines in CSS.
I was thinking the animated stars might be distracting.
i like it being just on the homepage, but thats just my onion

I'm at my friends place with pretty poor internet and it loaded immediately
