Just a reminder that you don’t need a cookie consent popup as soon as you collect cookies. It’s just for special cases when you collect non-crucial user information. It’s easy to believe that all sites need those popups because they are on most sites. But you don’t even need it for all types of cookies.

I want to start some movement for embracing and making sites without cookie popups (which means sites that don’t collect unnecessary user data). But since not showing a popup is a statement you don’t notice (because that’s the point!) I don’t know how to do it.

Instead of complaining on sites that show the popup, or trying to change the laws, just make a website that doesn’t collect unnecessary user data. The popup isn’t needed!

Actually, using browser extensions that block cookie popups is bad for the cause, because then you won’t rightfully embrace the popup-free websites and rigthfully penalize the popup-showing websites.

That's what I generally do. I write in libreoffice or Kakoune, run it through google docs for spelling errors (not always haha) and then post the html formated page into neocities. Convoluted but making html pages directly on Neocities is awful, especially when your changes and edits aren't saved.

I just joined the schizospectral webring! My schizotypal personality disorder is an element of myself I don't really talk about much, but it IS a part of me that's affected basically every part of my life. I can't escape it! But it's good to know there's people besides me who deal with the same thing. :)

Diablo DED. PATHETICALLY weak, I think I used 1 potion. easier than I remembered. was happy to see that the succubi are only on a single level, they were annoying as always. overall, Hell is a pain in the ass.

embedded pdf instead. easier formatting than doc->html, and i get to keep my background. if your browser's pdf viewer is showing the entire ugly toolbar, i dont care
