I don't mean to trigger anyone and I usually put cws and tws in my tumblr posts, i probably just forgot. anyway i should probably just put a cw/tw to my site in general just in case since I do make art that could contain sensitive content sometimes. also i write this blog with my socmed followers in mind who are already used to my content! my apologies>.<

Happy new year everyone! I did my first update of the year! I just added some changes for accessibility and some new sections, but some links are broken (for now) as i still have to work on those sections before posting them :) Thanks to everyone who visited my site btw! I've just started my journey on neocities, but I'm really enjoying hosting my site here already ! I promise I'll keep updating this site this year:D

Also, I've already figured out how to set up RSS feeds for zonelets so I'll be working on adding two RSS feeds (one for my blog and another one for the media log) in case anyone's interested !

(by the way, one awesome thing that you can do to help is to slow down your spirally decoration and "new!" gifs using ezgif.net !!! they are really cute so dont feel pressured to remove them but it helps people like us stay on the website for longer and more comfortable hehe! respectfully sending love/peace/whatever you prefer this year :D)

@strawberry-transneu ty for telling me! i agree that the gifs were a bit distracting.. i tried to slow them down, it should be better now! Also ty for your kind words, I’ve been trying to make my online posts on socmed more accessible this past year so it only made sense to put an effort into doing so to this website too<3

I just put 2 blinkies on my homepage mentioning my email address, in case if you want to contact me (will try writing some js so you can click the blinkie and the browser says "copied HANk's email" or sth like that)

wrote a new blog entry yapping about doomscrolling and how much social media sucks. Wasn't planning to post this before the media log entry tbh but I wanted to write this lol!

very true about the doomscrolling... can feel my braincells frying a little bit more everyday. i am trying out solutions such as 1 being spiteful towards the companies investing me so much to keep us scrolling and 2 using an app a friend recommended called screenzen on my phone. so far, it seems to be a lot more effective then like... average app locks that i just deactivate after five minutes.

whole premise is like it makes you wait a few seconds (i set 10) before you can open a certain app of your choosing so you have time to think whether you actually want to do that. you can also set a timer so if you do open the app you keep scrolling for 10 minutes instead of like 3 hrs. weirdly working bcs i technically still can open the app, i just gotta wait... and it's usually not worth the wait XD

@elliotthepumpkin hii i just saw your comment XD i’ll look into that app if I feel like my method isn’t good enough anymore :0 so far i think i’m doing a good job at staying away from socmed for as long as possible and i’ve already felt an improvement in my mental health lol if you don’t learn to curate and limit your time on social media it’s literal poison for the brain!
