Ummm, I'm feeling like an idiot that I somehow got my copy of Dragonball Raging Blast 2 which has been stuck in my PS3 Phat which got YLOD for nearly 17 years! It still works! Unbelievable! XD No one told me there was forced ejected option.

archive.org broke the &mute=1 for the iframe that i was using to autoplay without audio (??) so now my video embed might blast music if you have autoplay turned on. SORRY. i will look into the issue. but my website should respect your browser settings for motion etc. so if you have these on you should be safe and OK

In case, Youtube becomes impossible to use for myself. I would just make a backup using Kamtape: https://www.kamtape.com/profile?user=Retrofuge

Just stumbled across something known as the gaming emporium which has so much fan made content. Ranging from mods, recomps, decomps, homebrew and even abandonware! It's pretty crazy I only just learnt of this: https://thegamingemporium.com/

Just realised I made this post on the same day as the first post on the site. Odd timing, and I really need to fix that RSS feed

>Ted and Lewis mentioned in the same paragraph Oh, yeah. It's going to be a good post.
In complete agreement. It does seem as well like there is a competitive and or signaling aspect to aesthetics these days. The desire to signal to others that you have an elite type of taste on Letterboxd for example. I believe this is also related to the rise of at-home critics of art in general, it seems the conversations and non-actions around art have become more important than simply listening, seeing or enjoying
@literaturegirl you know I like my fair share of Ted-and-Lewisposting. @koilwood yeah, I forgot to mention it but this ties in with what you said: the reason these behaviours are so detestable is because they stem from a lack of authenticity. There's no genuine experience being had if you treat media like a database animal (in the case of aesthetuc surrogates) or like class signaling mechanism (as you described).
