Sona ref revamp is chugging along -- drew the lines for shirt designs today. All of these, I own IRL and drew from photos for style consistency. There will also be a page for IRL photo refs of my / my sona's gear. (esp. since I'll be sizing some of these down to fit on the shirt template.) Does anybody know how to open AIM Instant Messenger buddy icons (.aim links) to save them as images on modern Windows versions? I'm stuck using Windows for this because it requires Quicktime (which still works btdubstep) and the launcher is an EXE. I am trying to get goodies off of the Meteora enhanced CD.

commenting out the tranarchy webring widget because it doesn't seem to be working; when I joined the members list on their site also wasn't up
Okay, I guess I'm single driving Linux Mint, because I had to reinstall in order to fix a driver problem. In repartitioning the drives while doing that, I broke my Windows dual boot. I attempted to recover said, and succeeded in breaking...everything. Clip Studio Paint doesn't work in WINE and I've never gotten a VM working, but I think I'm just going to put my Windows programs on the other / work and school laptop.

Anyway, new Neopets backgrounds -- I field tested (get it?) Flash Player Projector portable with every background containing "field". The link to FPP on the techy stuff miscellanea page has been fixed.
uh, hey folks, so re: last night; I had a terrible day in meatspace (basically got a major trigger shoved @ me unexpectedly) and ended up taking it out here after running into an in-law's linux site made me feel worse. that was asshole behavior; the offending post has been deleted and I'm hiding comments from certain sites so this doesn't happen again.

and since I did not overtly say it -- as well as taking better curation steps so this doesn't happen again, I was being a bully and an asshole, and I apologize.
My Mint boot is back up and running, FreeTube finally works again, and there are two new Music Scene posts from the 2025 resolutions. The Mandy Murders one is an entire damned research paper complete with APA bibliography. There are also cute pictures of cacti and plenty of AntiRonnie snark from yours truly.

Unfortunately, the website toolkit and LPTV episodes, among other things, are not recoverable because the SWFs just redirect to parts of the website that no longer exist and aren't archived. So if it's just a link, why bother with Flash at all? The native Quicktime videos I can convert to MP4, and I screenshotted the launcher UI. The AIM icons, I could just screen record their previews as GIFs, but that's not ideal.
IIRC from Neopets, AIM icons are 50*50, so I think the screen recorded previews were native resolution. Neopets was nice and uploaded theirs as images. Why can't you be more like Neopets?
