Super cool. I 've been thinking about putting this into W99 for quite some time (Quake 3 launched in 1999). Looked into the logistics: I'd want it to look and behave like 1999 Quake III (bots first and foremost). Definitely on a todo list

Very Dumb question totally unrelated to the cooking recipe. What do you think about hookup culture? Would I miss out on half the fun of adult life if I avoid it? My friends keep teasing me for being such an uptight loser, but I don’t really know when an interaction counts as harassment or normal?

to each their own, but if its not your cup of tea dont force it is my thoughts. If it's feeling iffy then listen to your mind and body. At the end of the day it is a culture and I *personally* believe there are different sources for that similar "fun".

Personally, hookup culture icks me a lot. It's a problem how much I dislike it cause I won't even be friends with people that do it. It's not their problem or fault. It's my own issues tbh. I don't think sex should be *that* important in a person's life tho. If you think you'd have to force yourself to do it or try it, it wouldn't be fun for you. Like rippledstone said, listen to your mind and body.

Hookup culture can be very depressing. Sure you get easy sex but it negates you from ever having a proper relationship with someone

Thinking about whether having "no boundaries" is a reaction to living in a world that prioritizes male pleasure. Like, a preemptive defense: "I know my boundaries will be stepped over. I'll just remove them so that it won't hurt as much." I'm not sure that's something you should blame yourself for.

That was one of the most stomach-churning posts I've ever read. I don't want to accidentally namedrop the country you live in, but I've been to its capital a few times as a kid and I was always so confused why the trains had women and children in one car and men in the other. It makes even more sense now. Also dont feel bad about hookup culture, I skipped a ton of experiences like that growing up and don't regret it

(Going off topic from my site theme for a bit: girl, I am so mad at what the assholes did to you. Sex is supposed to be a good experience but it gets ruined by awful people like the ones you described and equally awful social/cultural expectations.

As for hookup culture...you mean casual sex in general, right? In theory, I don't think it's morally wrong as long as the partners aren't deceiving/coercing each other, knowingly passing on STDs, cheating on their actual SOs, using sex to self-harm, etc. But in practice, I think it's too risky and many people are ill-suited for it. In the end, you shouldn't force yourself to do things you're uncomfortable with.)
