Replying directly just so it doesn't get lost. I have my own opinions on why Adam ate the fruit which I won't share in neocity comments (my thesis was *supposed* to be about that though) but I hadn't thought about Adam possibly being able to restore Eve. I kinda feel like if that was possible, then he would have. But I also have other ideas about Genesis that can't really be confirmed, so who knows.

Was thinking about how things might be if Adam were the one who ate the fruit and Eve who sinned. Was thinking abt it cause I was thinking about how women have been treated throughout history (and how horrible it's been, even in Christian populations, but downright terrifying in unChristian ones) and how I feel like God accounted for it by making us the way we are.

Sometimes men complain about women trying to usurp their place or trying to be as men, but I think that desire comes from the fact that Eve was cursed. It wasn't supposed to be this way initially. Part of the curse was "your desire shall be for your husband." I'm not saying that a good Christian marriage is bad or anything, not at all and I am very looking forward to being married, but marriage is inherently

People sometimes complain about women being chaotic or complicated in nature and my opinion is that (well, also, it is how God made us, so maybe don't complain?) at LEAST we have that. Men are physically stronger and have used such a strength against us but women are naturally more cunning and we have used that to our advantage. Wisdom is a woman in the Bible.

For example, a man who tries to rule over his wife isn't following Christ (Ephesians 5:25-31). As in each, should it be reflected in the whole because the church is The Bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2).

Regarding the hypothetical of Adam eating the fruit first, I think things would have gone about the same, since Adam was the one given the instruction to not of the Tree, and Adam's and Eve's eyes were open _after_ Adam ate of the fruit

@Cutsman Well it's just the wording of "your will shall be for your husband" that makes me think marriage would have looked different before the fall. Not to mention pain in childbirth and just the fact that things have been rough for women ever since the beginning of history basically.

Bit late Quills. To answer, heard it said that if Adam never ate the fruit he would have been able to restore his wife Eve to the grace of God. He would have interceded on her behalf for her good. Unfortunately, Eve was deceived. Adam was NOT, and he ate willingly, using his wife as an excuse, when God confronted him about it.

Made a lot of changes. I like it a lot more than before though the changes don't actually look like much and I added a thing about my new online moniker. :)) I really like it a ton actually, but I am sending this out in the neocities updates because the change may be confusing for people who've spoken to me before. And I also have a different moniker for gaming platforms now but that is less relevant.

I just realized why I don't like stamps. I'm a lover of stationary, so why wouldn't I like them? I think it's because theyre not actually the size of real stamps or they just dont look like "stamps" to me. Maybe I also dont like how theyre often presented and would rather they look like theyre on a sticker sheet or on a letter. hmmm

Hello everyone! Instead of sending an annoying announcement email about this, I figure it should be enough to update you all on what's happening here? It doesn't exactly affect existing members, at least not yet. As of today, the form for the webring is paused to make way for an overhaul both in style, backend, and overall improvement.

The only reason this may be relevant to an existing member is the backend requires some file restructure... I didn't know what I was doing when I first made it and now it's kind of a mess. There's a good chance everyone will have to update their code and it'll be necessary for me to email as many people as possible to let them know that. Sorry in advance for the annoyance but it'll be good for the ring and

They do say that applicants are encouraged to get in touch with their interviewer and re-apply, they do have limlited slots so they can't accept *everyone* so maybe I'll do that but Idk. gosh this sucks

Hey heyy - not much may be happening but stuff is indeed happening for me ^^ I just took my first CLEP exam (College Level Examination Program) and I think I did pretty well! It's not graded yet but they don't let you take the essay portion if you didn't pass the multiple choice and I'm pretty confidant about the essays.

Also, there's a "no javascript" option for the webring. It was added a while ago actually but I've been in the Midst of Things so I never...announced it... I also don't know if that sort of change is big enough to warrant an annoying email sent out to everyone so yeah.

The no JavaScript section was not functional, but I managed to change it to function.. don't delete it.. you know I am using it now on my website.. our friend Aiste was the one whomade me observe that it doesn't work, but now it is working.
