I had friends and family willing to part with a laptop they didn’t need anymore. Thus far nobody has been as forthcoming with a PC.

You can find some banging deals on ebay if you're willing to part with £30-40, target specific office desktops like Dell Optiplex, sort by lowest price, and select everything except "for spares or repairs"

Thank you! The forest theme was a relatively late addition. The main page used to be all neon magentas, but it sloooowly got more and more old-timey and sylvan the more i hammered away at it. I guess my æsthetic tastes just changed.
