is there any good way i can take photographs of my physical paintings w/o a scanner? The one I have in my artwork page is coincidentally well taken. They usually end up either being too bright by the flash or have my shadow over them visible :/

Use sunlight as the main light source, also don’t be afraid to edit the photo afterwards to make it look more similar to the actual painting, since cameras can be weird sometimes

Also for less serious stuff, I usually take the photo from a bit further away and then crop it smaller to make sure there’s no shadow (but this can make it a little fuzzy around the edges)

is there a better format where I could be posting my little thoughts/essays that might be more viewer friendly? Maybe link to a page on another site, maybe even have separate voice notes like a mini podcast?

@satyrwould it got colder here for a second but we had a huge flood .-. looks like Venice minus the gondolas. I'm glad I have nets because mosquitos are partying it up.
