Awesome! Yeah man, owning a comic store is a total dream job for me, I am super lucky to get to do it. Many thanks for checking out my Homepage!
dude I get it man. i cant really remember my childhood all that much. just the traumatic stuff.
Sucks when things screw a person up good. Hopefully you've got a therapist or other avenue to work thru things thru.
I was losing my marbles yesterday when Neocities was inaccessible for a while, lol. And dude I know, my site means so much to me and is such a big part of my life now.
@keysklubhouse Right?! You've been at yours longer than I here on Necoties, but I am so attached to it and the community and obsess over working on it hahahaa, worse problems to have I suppose! :P
Earlier I was able to upload a new page to my site just fine, but I did tinker with it outside of the Neocities editor. If you haven't tried it already, maybe a hard refresh (shift + ctrl + r) might help?
FUCK this is really pissing me off, I had a lot on my checklist to do tonight and it's taking an hour or more to update the live site.
Your website does not suck. It is hella cool. A lot of people seem to delete their websites on here after awhile. I wouldn't put too much attention on the follower count.
The thing with lost followers is, any time somebody turns off the profile view/commenting on their site, it automatically removes them from all Following/Follower lists (and yes, deleting a site does so as well). I've fretted over it before too before I realized it was just people choosing to basically disable the social networking part of Neocities. I just lost 2 as well so I'm guessing that's what's up.
Thanks, yall, appreciate the feedback. Not really THAT upset about it. Even less so consideering the info about people deleting their sites or turning off the social part of Neocities - was not aware of those things!
Yeah I just use the Neocities editor.
In that case, I would recommend trying a dedicated text editor to make changes instead. There isn't a priority on which one you use as long as it can download a live server plugin, which allows you to make changes to your site and preview them (works offline from my experience). Still have to copy the changes onto NC, but at least you can preview the changes instantly beforehand.
