Yay!!! I wasn't sure if anyone would even be familiar with either, but I am a mega fan. They will likely be my biggest and most robust shrines to date. Agree about the FF2 vid, uffda, that thing is AMAZING! But I dgress in the best interest of my shrine LUL.
Finished adding my Webgarden to the nav and a few small relatively unimportant fixes and additions. Nothing major tonite... yet lol.
Ope, first world problem journal entry now added, felt good to complain tho.
The reason why I edited the margins within the iframe the first time was because thats how I could demonstrate the change only using 'Inspect Element', though I've realized that approach coulda been confusing in terms of which code you change
Oh wow, thank you for the continued help, SOOOO appreciated, I amhumbled by the help the community offers, so amazing. I was able to get it to work!!! You rule, thank you again!!!
Working on updating the Nav to reflect the new Webgarden but I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open so I'll finish updating the Nav on the other pages tomorrow.
yeah!! i make a lot of tape music and musique concrete so moste are my own demos!! what kind of tapes did u collect?
That's rad, love to see it! I collected mostly metal and electronic music mixtapes, but had all sorts of music. Had to get rid of it tho, started suffocating me LOL
Maybe it could be that in your webgarden pot, the tags have a slight margin around them, which puts the centering off-kilter? The margins are represented by the yellow border in this image (https://i.imgur.com/aVFtQyO.png) -- this was an issue for me at one point but setting the margins to 0 might help
Just tried it myself, setting the margins in the iframe document to 0 seems to have centered things out (https://i.imgur.com/gUid9kP.png)
Also be careful with the dimensions here 👀 (https://i.imgur.com/ltiZCJL.png) (Sorry for so many replies lmao)
@pip=pepping - no apology necessary, I greatly appreciate the knowledge and direction, thank you so much! Will implkement next update, cheers!
I'm afraid i'm stumped on this one. I tried running through your source, and editing in what pip-pepping added, but I did'nt come up with the same result, it was still off-center for me. But if it works, it works! It could just be me. I tried quite a few other things to get it center, I spent an hour messing around, and still couldnt get it to align properly.
Iframes can be a pain to mess with, is it possible to display these web gardens without an iframe, perhaps give it its own div class?
Your copy & paste code on your webgarden is incorrect; it has the border wrong. Thought you should know. Otherwise though, yay, another garden pot thingy!
@enflicted LOL I feel bad you're spending time helping me with my code man, but it is very much appreciated. It's not the end of the world that it's a little off center, but it is bother me a bit, gonna try some things!
Haha nah man don't feel bad, as I said i'm a code junky so I enjoy it, just sorry i couldn't get it to work, I must have tried 10 different ways and it just wouldnt budge!
thank youu! that was my fav era of the internet. very happy to follow you back! :D adding you to my webgarden and tower as well. <33
idk why i said "follow you back" when i followed you first.. x_x haha but thank you for the follow back!
No worries! :)
