you have been putting in WORK on those halloween pixels! I can't believe how many you've made for so many clubs. INCREDIBLE! πππ Loving your page so much!!!
@LOSTLETTERS aw, thanks so much, it's been such a blast, getting ahead of the pixel art learning curve a little every day, thanks again for helping organize the event, I'm loving it!
Diggin' the theme! even got that scrollbar going! I believe yesterweb is no longer a thing from all the controversy surrounding it.
Yeah, Yesterweb been silent for a minute. Glad to see 320Bit Cafe come through for an indie-web event this season!
Wish I had the passion for pixel art like I did last year, It's just to time consuming for me, and don't have the time to dedicate to it, love me some pixel art though.
Hmmmm.... Ive def commented on sites that I follow who don't follow me and they haven't shown. Is there a setting/preference maybe?
I have commented on sites I don't follow and don't follow me, and it seems to work fine. Maybe there IS a secret setting but I don't know.
a week or two ago someone commented that they came across dev notes about a previously uncommunicated shadow ban mechanic neocities uses if X amount of users block you. could be something with that playing into it as well. i comment on sites i dont follow often
i ran into this once a while back and just assumed it was a "you can only comment if you're mutuals" kind of thing. /:
you can definitely comment regardless of whether or not you follow each other.
I queried this a while back, but it appears I can comment on people I don't follow again now.
it used to be that if you were blocked by 4+ ppl you could only comment on mutuals pages. this limit has been raise to 25, which is probably why you can comment on anyone's profile ^^
https://onlywonder.net/holidays/halloween/2023 <- my Halloween page this year! lots of candy pixels and feel free to steal the pumpkins too!
At least for the 32-bit cafe related submissions, the display page of submissions is up and being updated periodically throughout the event, so you can double check you got everything submitted against that list: https://32bit.mysteryslug.com/events/halloween-2023/ (note: it won't be final until after the submission deadline of Oct 25)
Thank you both so much for posting those links, gonna get to collecting!
