I'm really battling myself about adding the comment feature to my website... I don't want to fall into the trap of creating for an audience (like it was on social media) but i also would like for people to be able to connect with me based on shared interests without having to commit to an actual conversation if they don't wish to do so... tough choice xD

i've found that cbox is good for this. my guestbook and email are there if anyone wants to talk but cbox is nice for shorter stuff. and no one can like/react to comments there so it's not too social media-y

I do have chatboxes too but usually I don't get many replies to what i post on my microblog over there xD i have likes on my posts but at the same time i dont want it to be toooo social media-y xD

I'm going through the exact dilemma XD. You could always make it and then test the waters. If you're unhappy, you can remove it. The experience is better than not knowing. It would be a good learning opportunity

I've been so busy these last few days that i didn't notice my Neocities anniversary just went by on the 13th! I don't have anything special planned for it but i'd like to thank everyone for supporting me, for all the friends i made here and for all the nice words i receive on my guestbook that will stay forever in my heart <3 you guys made this 1 year hella amazing!!
