MISERICORDE MENTION HELL YES. Hedwig really is such a fascinating, contradictory lead; oscillating between bouts of self-loathing/righteousness (like looking down on the nuns for not being pious pinnacles, yet lapses all too easily into the sins she criticizes). @heartonwave, omg another misericorde fan!!! Definitely agree with ur thoughts on Hedwig, she's quite a complex character. Her hypocrite tendencies can get on my nerves, but she's an intriguing mess of a person that I'm growing fond of. I also love how Hedwig is just having a miserable time while Darcy is like 'come pet sheep with me'.
