whew-- that concludes this round of edits! mainly worked on adjusting the layout to be more layout-adaptive. i also learned how to link to a specific point in a page so i could have a table of contents for my portfolio!

honestly trying to get every single edit you want in an update for a single page in one fell swoop, much less an entire website, simply takes too much fun out of it. hope you're enjoying watching me edit my site in REAL TIME 🎉

Lol I would do that but with the dress up game that would eat a lot of my bandwidth with how many files have to be reloaded from cache!

I saw your message about wanting to change your site URL but felt it would be a hassle. An easy way around this is CTRL+H in any editor (including Neocities default editor) and search for your URL with the hyphen and write the replacement without the hyphen.

You may also need to use "whole word match" which varies based on what you are editing in but it should work virtually in most editors.

oooo thanks for the advice! though tbh i'm more worried about links to my site from other sites being broken, i wouldn't be able to do much about those if i were to change urls
this portfolio of works is so stellar. the Loss story is so affecting

honestly looking at the sun and moon edition makes me a little sad because the illustrations are noticeably less eventful and charming as the early game boy era books... i wanted to see pheromosa getting into whimsical antics like in those ;_;

the portfolio page has gotten a little tricky to navigate and overbearing, so i would like to work on that too. perhaps i could learn how to do a grid with thumbnails and clicking on one brings that art up above

the main sticking point is the age-old issue of the actual "next/previous site" ring functionality being prone to breaking due to a site being deleted or having its association removed and i'm unsure how i could efficiently handle that

make a new site for the webring, have the next/prev buttons redirect to it with the referrer site's name as a get parameter, have the code you own decide where to redirect. once a month scan your linked list for broken sites and then remove them from the chain if needed.
