Been busy working on the site this weekend. Changed almost all the pages so there is a solid background where there is text - trying to make things more readable. And made a new shrine! Also added a new follow and cleaned up some code. Whew!

OMG, I didn't realize you had so many buttons! And cool ones I haven't seen elsewhere! Are they free for the taking? BSG, B5, Farrell's, Buck Rogers, NASA are some of the ones I have my eye on.

Sure, feel free to take whatcha like. A lot of the blinkies and buttons I've found in various places around the Web. I've also made a bunch of 'em too, like the Battlestar Galactica, NASA and Farrell's buttons. :) Well met and Merry Christmas.

I tend to avoid reading, or watching the news, I used to until I noticed my happiness level went below my own threshold. If I could get a newspaper delivered that only had the funnies in it, I'd be all over it.
As for rituals, Coffee yes. Every morning! Sometimes evening time as well. Mornings are usually taking kids to school, my work hours are sporadic at best, so I suppose that breaks up my day to day rituals, aside from my mornings and evenings.
enflicted, I had to put myself on a news diet and not constantly go chase headlines. It does have an effect! Oh man, funnies only newspaper - that would be solid.
As long as you can curb the news intake, but still follow current events, more power to you! I can go a week of watching or reading the news, and usually by the end of that week, I tell myself - "ok im good for a few months" lol
