someone created crypto tokens with some of my drawings, which i obviously did not authorize. but then they linked my website directly to the token profile so i got a notification on my search console. i already thought cryptobros were fucking dumb but this is next level.
@psychicnewborn i just heard about that as well, also it explains why my stats show 17k hits randomly on jan 2 which is the token creation date. weird stats since I haven't been active, I assumed it was some sort of bot behavior and I guess it was indeed
this is happening to a bunch of people with sites on neocities

oh shit
I think one way to handle this is to block certain search engines/bots on the backend AND to add a copyright.
And go after those who used yuor tokens in just sending copyright infringement and takedown notifications and posting a page on your site https://copyrightalliance.org/education/copyright-law-explained/the-digital-millennium-copyright-act-dmca/dmca-notice-takedown-process/ send an email to all places you saw this.. if it was a simple person using a image on a blog so be it, but cryptofreaks need to be punished.
