I just spent entirely too long on Wikipedia looking up random national days, birthdays, and historical events so I can have it say "Today is X, National Y Day!" on my homepage like a dumb novelty calendar... definitely gonna tweak it but it seems to be working!

This is awesome! If you have the ability, you should totally consider packaging it as a widget, and add a "made by" line. That way as more people use it, it will drive traffic to your site.. you could share it to r/neocities or the discord :D
