i think any tomato sauce from a can is just the base for a good sauce, you gotta add the onions and whatnot to make it the way you want

For canned sauce, 100% agree. The jarred stuff though, gets a little fuzzy. Some of them have the onions and whatnots in there already, some don't. But they're all called "tomato sauce".

This is all a conspiracy by Big Tomato Sauce to turn us against one another, I just know it

oh ya the jars are another level. i keep my expectations low and assume i'll be addin to it. we cant let the conflict of sauces boil over and get between us, this is a slow n steady, simmer all sunday kinda saauce

Aaah so what you're suggesting is that the sauce is a metaphor for life, it's better to put your own flavor into it than to just pick one off the shelf. Very wise. I'm still going to just use the jarred stuff for my spaghetti though because I am pretty lazy.

spaghetti and jar sauce is a mandatory vibe sometimes

I've finally had the time to dive into some of your coverage (Beep Boop Bitcoin, Moe Era, Tamara). Everything is wild and what you're doing is criminally underrated.

Are you by any chance a member of the Traffic Cone Preservation Society (trafficcone.com)? I would think a collaborative study between top experts would advance knowledge in the field tenfold.

(I am just as surprised now to find out this site still exists as I was surprised to find circa 2005 that typing trafficcone.com into the URL bar actually yielded a hit)

equally surprised at its existence! will reach out to strike agreements, or at least a truce, if possible! it's nice to know we're not alone with the whole cone thing X)

I never thought much of hotel breakfasts when I was in America. West coast, though

Oh yeah no, hotel breakfasts are purely utilitarian. But from my experience, if a muffin is going to be involved, it's going to be included in the price of the room.

I know many of you have been losing sleep at night as you eagerly anticipated this day. At long last, your wishes have been answered: I have a button now.

A button! Tomorrow morning it’s going straight to the pool room (you probably have to be Australian to get the reference. In other words, I’ll put it up!)

You're telling me I spent all afternoon working on my button and then you just throw one that's twice as glamorous at me like it's no big deal

Well I went ahead and added it even though it makes my efforts seem laughable in comparison.
