hey cross goss and fans! I signed up for an AVCX trial and I love that it's printable. Do you have any other favorite sources for analog crosswords, or do you recommend the AVCX subscription?

If it was a pure memory game, they could just start you with a blank board and let you go to town. The stars/bonus stars mechanics also reward logical play. So give me more points for playing that way!

In my opinion, a shower only amplifies the quality of the beer (and vice versa) if you just finished some hard yard work on a hot day, or something to that effect. Then it's a nice treat. In all other circumstances, I don't want shower water in my beer.

i’m trying to imagine a shower lacroix, or something that’d be my equivalent, and i can see how that would be nice after sweating. bonus for lacroix is that it already tastes like shower water

Constructors will often have their own blogs and tend to post in both formats from my experience. Occasionally you get charity bundles like Midis for Minnesota that I think have printables. Or you can check https://dailycrosswordlinks.com/ for PDF sources!

(I also didn't realize I could print NYT crossword with a Games subscription. I now have more crosswords than I will ever need!)
