Not posting this on the site because then I’d be what we in the industry call a massive hypocrite but it gets on my nerves when I see a cool-looking website and then the only content on it is about how much they miss Le Old Web before they invented capitalism or whatever. It was a cool fun new idea a few dozen sites ago but please I'm begging you just write about gardening or Zootopia fanfiction or something

What makes the free web beautiful is the sheer diversity in topics covered and how the little idiosyncracies and quirks in people's interests shine through — it makes me a little sad how most sites in the modern revival movement are just lamenting about their own existence!
