No matter how severe the bug, it will break someone's workflow if you fix it. https://xkcd.com/1172/

Neocities now has a confirmation dialog before you delete a post. Isn't open source software great? https://github.com/neocities/neocities/issues/517

You too can submit git issues if something like that screams out to you that it should be implemented. You have the power

An equally potent example of this filmmaking style: Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6P0SitRwy8

It's like some kids in the 90s had a budget and some cool new digital filmmaking tech, and someone with a big cigar said "Go nuts, kid"

I was there. I was in the trenches. On 4chan. On digg, back when it was good. On reddit when it was for obscure weird coders. On utoob, pre-goog. We forged culture. Everything from rickrolls to habbo hotel, man. I was there. We were just kids, man. Just fuckin' kids.

It seems to be too easy to delete a comment on Neocities.

It's been a problem about which nearly everyone I know here has complained for years.

As an Xer who's observed the galling arrogance and post-'70s calcification of Boomers lifelong, I'm hardly surprised to observe that many never once considered that people want to spend time with their families and reduce overhead by working from home, and resist change to accomodate them. This is a generation who nearly created an entire subgenre of comedy dedicated to their inability and refusal to program VCRs.

Never mind that telephones, PCs, and fax machines should've obviated half of all occupational attendance by the late '80s....

That disaster likely isn't the worst eventuating from Big Pharma's collaborations with governments worldwide, but it's certainly the most overt. I've never observed propagandistic conspicuity comparable to that of pro-vax shills. A few of them were even active here!

Most of those vaccines represent pass/fail survival and fitness tests administered for the purpose of generating profit and curbing populations. Suspect and question everything.

Funny timing, considering I'm writing about my experiences during the mass hysteria myself. I don't think you'll like reading them.
