i think its rly funny that when ppl steal ur code without credit + just link to ur css file instead of making their own u can then make their site say whatever u want
What's kind of befuddling to me about this is that you have code snippets and even a free layout available on your site, F2U with credit? Instead they just copy-pasted a bunch from your site's CSS wholesale. :x Comes off very inconsiderate.
@smokoswebzone exactly!! i try to be really generous about offering things for people to use, but i put so much love into my site and seeing it copied with no credit always feels so violating. there's so many free layouts out there (including mine!) that people can use instead of stealing!!
Yeah it just rubs me the wrong way, esp. as an amateur coder who relies on templates and snippets. Like I've used SadGrl's F2U layout builder as a base to tinker with, but the webmaster made it for that purpose, credit optional. Otherwise, I always try to make note of finding/linking back to the original sources, wherever possible (though I don't have a Credits page set up quite yet).
Like, it always pays to find the original source and follow/respect the rules provided by the user (if any). Interest in the result but no respect for the process or hard work creating the code is a script-kiddie mindset. :/
i feel so evil for laughing about this, but i've just been over here cackling at the giant text on their museum page stating that the code is stolen TuT
OMG 😨 I was lowkey panicking thinking that you could change the code of other people's sites but then I remembered that they hot linked to your css file💀
@miss-david HAHA YEAH re the comment boxes this is like the third time this has happened too 💀💀💀 the extreme confusion i felt opening my email + seeing someone comment on a page like "omg i love your cosplay" when ive never posted a cosplay ever lol
Really dumb how people still have the gall to take advantage of your generosity when you already provide a lot for the community. This makes me almost want to disable the right-click option on my site lol
LMFAOOOO! get your justice, girl <3

I think the worst bit is the copying of the chatbox😭 you getting notifications for someone else's site must've been confusing

*I* think it's funny that they changed their imood status to "angry" today. I wonder why?
LOL KEYS I HADNT EVEN NOTICED THAT
it's humbling to make something from scratch, but you learn so much more by doing so than ripping off another person's hard work.
