thank you flora 🌹 really appreciate you taking the time to read my words. mean girls is awesome. loving your site so far as well. i know i said i’ll block anyone under 20 but really i just don’t want to cultivate an audience of kids. so, you’re welcome here… thank you friend, have a good week. 🖤
in all seriousness though, thank you. it means a lot to me when others read/enjoy my work, even more so when it's people i hold in high regard. there's definitely a lot i would change about my previous essays that were written when i was just getting started, but that's just something to keep in mind for my future essays, and i'm honored that you've given my writing your time :)
i actually look up to YOU! it’s no easy feat to come up with original analysis and criticism of butler and foucault! also nathan, yess you should check each other’s sites out!
to Lupinus, Rejectpile, Anemoiaque, Daliwali, and a couple offline friends: you are referenced in my booklog! Please let me know if you would like your name removed.
to all friends: i am slowly going through more of your recommendations! work has been busy, thank you for your patience...🖤
okay, i will log out now, and assume i am talking to myself and that nobody notices this update! as ive said, i should still want to create, even if no one is watching...
to Mekongred: a final addition. Please let me know if you would like your name removed.
awesome booklog page!!! (also i feel u about being busy; between work and family, I've got time to finish maybe ~4 books a year LOL)
graeber's critique of bullshit jobs is spot on, although i don't agree with his prescriptive policies like UBI. the reduction of human worth as economic units has led to social stratification based on income, which necessitates the creation of bullshit jobs.
the left hand of darkness is so good!! i was going to write a review of it for my own page but i forgot... i hope you enjoy it when you get around to reading it! :)
hey i read all these comments thanks a lot i will keep your words in mind as i read. i hope we are able to finish many more books by the end of 2025. 🖤
Thank you for your sweet comment! I'm glad you liked "eight studies over airwave" <3
no worries anemoia, thank you for recommending it! :-) can't wait to get to your recommendation, as well as everyone else's.
φιλοσοφία into πρᾶξις. after putting myself in danger, getting hurt, and being traumatized on the ground fighting in the name of social justice, i realized that just the act of continuing to survive in a society that exploits is also an act of revolution. i'm an anarcho-syndicalist, but i live under capitalism, so i do what i need to do to survive! as should everyone, bc as individuals, we can only do so much,
and we still have lives we need to live. care for yourself, care for your local community as much as you can, and then if you have the capacity, go further than that. i serve my community by working at a nonprofit that fights the affordable housing crisis, and that's as deep as i'll get in continuing my activism,
bc i can recognize where the pulse of my community needs me and where that limit ends, and where my needs as an individual begin.
dear kkbkkb, thank you so much for taking the time to read my writing, it really means a lot to me 🖤 many of your experiences i can relate to. it is frustrating how the internet measures an ACTION not by how much MATERIAL REALITY has shifted, but by the NOISE & ANGER it generates. what use are our negative feelings if not mobilized for an actual revolution; what use is radicalizing someone in another continent when-
we cannot even radicalize our neighbor? you have been through so much, and to be rooted in community still despite all, is not easy. 🖤 a very redundant side note, i'm very sorry, but i think my capacity for neocities feed speed (?) has reached its limit, i may not follow back. i hope you do not mind, and do not take it personally if you unfollow too! when i have time i will check your site out. love to u kkb🖤
i have caught up with your site! love the cute pixels and cannot wait for your art page if you plan on updating it. you are the 59th and the last person i will follow on here now, any more and i will lose track of who i'm friends with which gives me too much anxiety so... thank you for being my latest and last friend on here 😁
afraid of following too many, which dilutes friendships and makes it harder to catch up on new updates. i will stop here now. i will hold everyone close.
this made me smile so much i love you and i love the community. so much universal love
genuinely you have made this space feel like such a wonderful little group of people - so glad to be a part of it
hi damien, thank you for the response, and no need to apologize 🖤 so that explains what aengineering is. it’s sad when a major you chose did not meet up to your expectations. looking forward to more developments in aengineering. i also love your lion dance page🖤
i sort of forgot about my lion dance page ELP i still lion dance and i have a head/tail partner now who's equally interested in traditional lion dance, so as we learn ill try to update! <3
overall, your characters are wonderful. id love to ask you a few questions, but neocities is too public, so drop me an email if you'd like to chat!
you can reach me at puppetdreamcave@gmail.com! :-} id love to chat too <3 ALSO OMG TY ON THT SIZHUANG ONE oh god i dunno if i have that original file even... oop ill try and find it haha
me too. i talk and talk sometimes and then i realise i never said what i set out to say, i just danced around it a bit :P
changes to site, now i am less of an edgelord: added actual, sincere "about" page, reverted index page, cleared up angsty and unnecessary rants by removing miniblog and archive. mostly royalty free images in blog/booklog
very nice :-)
(nodding sagely) great judge of the limes... (silly)

thank u all…🖤
