absolutely do not feel pressured to check my site out or anything in reciprocation, ive been meaning to slowly go through everyone's recs unconditionally
i'm trying to avoid using "i" and "me" too often, let's see how this goes. Also, every book is 5 stars because i (oops) am very easily impressed
anyway i finished more books and more d20 (Never Stop Blowing Up) and hope to review them soon =D thank you for allowing me to grace your activity feed
shifted entire blog post with messy convoluted notes into a read more section in the booklog, finally finished orientalism, so i wrote a proper first book review...
pay that cloudward ho page no mind, only reworded some badly structured sentences. thumbnails work so weirdly
nothing much: updated mutuals, transformed blog into forest, brief thoughts on new cloudward ho ep
the forest blog page is so cool !! i love how you decorated it with overlaying images... and it's still so readable (slowly catching up on your pieces 🧩 i wish everyone could get beamed with the wisdom in your june entry ........)
thank you niko! i was really inspired by firozah for image placement (i hope she doesnt mind this mention). also dont worry about catching up. ive been busy recently myself, finding it hard to be on top of what everyone else is up to as well. im grateful that anyone would want to read my stuff at all!! :') i wrote "opinions" hastily and almost deleted it, happy i didnt and that it resonates with you <3
of course :.D and i love reading your entries.. it couldn't be possible that i'm the only one <333 ty for always being so creative and insightful...!
sorry 2 anyone who laid eyes upon this, twas not my best... if you cant handle me at my cloudward ho you dont deserve me at my whoever i was 1 hour ago
you are so real for this i honestly think it's really weird for people to be discussing anything invasively personal about any dropout cast or crew, even if they do volunteer information about their personal lives? reminds me of when BDG faked his audience out by growing a mustache and pointedly saying "i'm not your friend and you have no say over what i do with my body"
@cervidaze yeah it’s made me wary of online fandoms in general. people cannot engage healthily! it’s easy to fall in love with the cast because they are so personable but also just as important to remember they are at work and have a whole life outside of it that should be respected and left alone
@firozah you know what i found so funny, it was when they were chanting that midway through, only to abruptly stop and move on LMAO
there should be no reason why burgerland politics affects you in █████████ yet somehow you give a shit, why? american psyops are #1 in the world
@daliwali brother. i hope you have read the entry properly lol, i am in agreement with that statement and very frustrated that everybody irl is still giving attention to "burgerland politics".
i did not take nothing away from 328 pages of orientalism
"Delegating these scarce resources extremely intentionally is of the utmost imperative, as much of them has been squandered on overindulging in meaningless knowledge". You're right. With almost 200 countries in the world, it's impossible to know everything about everything, so we must choose where to invest our attention.
I'm still learning. But it's hard to know what is meaningless knowledge and what isn't, and sometimes we mistake one for the other. Interesting reading!
"i do not want to be the internet’s definition of a better leftist, but my own definition of a better human being." so fucking good.
i find that mainstream liberalism conflates constant spectatorship of US news with being "politically engaged," but idk how dutiful or sustainable it is to constantly saturate oneself with american political theatre that's deliberately vapid. idk. i sympathize with the urge for nonamericans to keep up with the US, but those of us in the belly of the beast owe it to them to not give in to our own sensationalism
