Just posted a new tutorial covering the code needed to include the native Neocities hit (or visit) counts on your page. https://dannarchy.com/tut/tut_002.html

I did not know that the neocities api thing even existed

There are a ton more, but you'd need some external tools or server side scripting to use them. This one is a quick freebie

I'd a quick read of the API a while back, but i didn't realise we could do this. Thanks for bringing it to general attention!

Thanks! I have a friend who was asking how to do this, and this was easier than explaining it to them myself. :)

Thanks. Glad it was useful.

All 88x31 link-back buttons should be current. If you didn't have one I hacked something together in Photoshop.

I might be almost happy with the layout of the Latest Articles section. Fits nicely in the thumbnail, and I just added some screen size responsive CSS so they disappear based on available space.

Thanks for the follow. I too started around 25 years ago handcoding websites. I still do, even on bigger ones with PHP and databases and such, but it's nice here to be limited to a client-side only approach.
