Dammit, I forgot it was April Fools. Just saw that page, assumed Neocities was being taken down by big technology, and started mentally preparing for a revolt.
Hey, I noticed you have a dead link on your friends page: melissathomas.neocities.org has changed her username to m3lt.neocities.org.
"melissathomas.neocities.org has changed her username to m3lt.neocities.org." Ugh, I was worried this might happen. Sorry for the trouble, but thank you so much for the link!
Read your page about reading books. I find that it's hard to focus on a book when you've been frying your brain at the computer all day.
I find it a nice change of pace after a long day of work on PC. I also agree with the point of not just moving on to a next book - a good book leaves you thinking for a while, it won't just "release" you like that. (*^▽^*)
@floppys-lounge Indeed it is a challenge, I set aside time in the morning and evening, with all other distractions switched off. Practicing this habit helps it to become easier.
@saint-images A good book, or even a good movie; although I'm stuggling right now to piece something together about Animal Farm!
This brought back memories of how the toaster my family owned when I was a child had a rather strong ejection mechanism, which I used to launch toast-shaped objects into the air.
@saint-images That's how toasters should be! This one though had a simple button that lately had become temperamental, I'm surprised it managed to eject the partially toasted toast, as it did, in its last whimper.
