anyway, ideally i want to relaunch this month, but i've also realized i'm terrible with hard deadlines. so i will just say that things are coming along and the homepage will be back up soon. thank you to everyone who has thought about me during these last couple of years. i could not have stumbled into a better community of websurfing wierdos if i tried :3 <33333

i've scrapped a lot of the more radical changes i had for the layout because i came to realize i just liked the simplicity of my old layout better. feeling the need to overcomplicate and conform to the styles of other sites i liked was a huge source of coder's block. if i can offer anyone advice when it comes to webmastery, it's to just do your own thing and don't concern yourself with imaginary expectations.

HEY I'M NOT DEAD!! i won't divulge too many details for the sake of brevity, but i've been dealing with some pretty intense family changes that have required a lot of my attention. in addition, school became a way bigger part of my life than i would've liked. but with that said... I AM WORKING ON THE SITE AGAIN!!!! :3
