Might not be an option for budget reasons, or maybe you like the challenge, but the GR IIIx is essentially a 40mm version of this camera!

Am I correct to assume that the aforementioned photic leak is what flashed that first photo of the intrados in Philly? Whatever the cause, it's a neat effect!

Yes, that’s right. The light-sealing foam on the edges of the removable cover has deteriorated with age, letting light into the film chamber if it hits the camera at certain angles. I’d be inclined to repair it to prevent the 5-10% of photos it ruins, but I appreciate the wabisabi that it adds
